about

The making of "Half Smile" took us almost two years to achieve the sound, quality, and aesthetic we were going for. We hope you enjoy the hard work that was put into this album because we are happy to finally share it with you all.

Track Name: All The Right Reasons
I'mma get your number like I knew that I would
Standin' in the entrance of time
I'mma get your number in my white t-shirt
No, I don't need the dress tonight

You're talkin' to your friends,
What do you say?
You're talkin' to a girl,
She wants to give it away,
But I'mma get your number even though you might like her,

I'mma get your number even just to spite her

Cause' I'mma get your number,
So you don't have to wonder,
The portions of my body,
Wrapped in my silk covers,

All the people I used to see, I never wanted them anyway
All the people I used to meet, there's never been a steady beat,
But all the right reasons,
To ask you,
All the right reasons,
Because I finally want it too

When I have your number, it'll be in my pocket,
Scrunched up in the back of my jeans,
When I have your number, I'll be drinking hot sake
Laying on a tapestry

You're talkin' to your friends,
What do you say?
You finally get the courage just to talk to me,
But when I have your number,
I am in my apartment,
When I have your number,
I am raging my closet

Cause you want to come over,
I can't believe I'm sober,
And the portions of my body,
Sacred undercover

All the people I used to see, I never wanted them anyway
All the people I used to meet, there's never been a steady beat,
But all the right reasons,
To ask you,
All the right reasons,
Because I finally want it too

All the right reasons, yeah,
Just to get a kiss, it's always hit or miss,
But I'mma get a kiss, yeah,
You don't even know this,
I'mma be on it,
Top of all your lists,
Just scratch everyone off it
Track Name: We Haven't Met Yet
I get underneath the bed sheets,
I make sweet love to you,
We laugh like little children,
We greet the morning,
As if it is something we're not used to,
I'll make you my inexperienced version of my breakfast,

And though we haven't met yet,
I will look my best,
Just in case we meet unexpectedly,
Like in my old hometown when I visit my family,
You could even live down the street,

We see each other often,
But take our time apart,
Easy, your independence,
And you love my unfinished thoughts,
We change our moods,
We are me and you and I am my favorite person,
Before anybody embellishes my personality,

And though we haven't met yet,
I will look my best,
Just in case we meet unexpectedly,
Like in the back alleys or in the french cafes of New York City
Where he told me not to look--

Like in the cheap hotels, like in the bathroom cells,
Like in the damp moonlight, like in the bright sunshine,
When I am full of life, when I'm about to die,
From all these fainting spells that I get at night

I will never know,
I will never know
Track Name: Nowhere At All
On this one way ticket to nowhere,
You will find me,
Just sitting down in the corner,
Huddling in the breeze,
Trying to get away,
Trying to get away,

Soon you're gonna talk and soon you're gonna take,
The consequences of your own plans,
Soon you're gonna tell the person of your dreams,
Just how much you adore them,
And soon you're see their point,
And soon you're gonna have your point,
And soon there's gonna be no point,

On this one way ticket to nowhere,
I meet you here,
Just looking down at the water,
Breaking your beer,
Against the rocks,
Oh nobody, nobody likes it when you do that,
They need you to stop,

Soon you're gonna talk and soon you're gonna take,
The consequences of your own plans,
Soon you're gonna tell the person of your dreams,
Just how much you adore them,
And soon you're see their point,
And soon you're gonna have your point,
And soon there's gonna be no point,

Cause every single day,
Every single train passes me by as I stare,
And every single day,
At the same time
I take the one that brings me nowhere at all,
Nowhere at all
Brings me nowhere at all
Track Name: Take Me As You Want To (New Version)
You are horrible,
It is beautiful,
You have everybody fooled, don't you?
I see the wave and I can't help but swim through,

You can take me as you want to,
You can be the shape you form to,
If I fit then that is awfully exciting,
If you kiss her then,
You're still worth inviting,

You have my attention,
It's just so hard to come by,
This party was the answer,
Till you showed me the door to sober laughter

You can take me as you want to,
You can be the shape you form to,
If I fit then that is awfully exciting,
If you kiss her then,
You're still worth inviting,

The moment I saw your face,
I knew,
The moment I take a taste,
I want to say,
"I love you"
I do, I do, I do, I do…
Track Name: Moonstruck
No I can't have you,
Because you're everyone's,
The love I get from you,
It could be anyone's,

And I'm moonstruck,
Can't even help it,
You stuck to all of my velvet,
Blue heart,
I'm always wearing,
it's a new start,
Bad to start caring now,

No I can't have you,
Even when you're in my bed,
The love I get from you,
Like the virus I have spread,

And I'm moonstruck,
Can't even help it,
You stuck to all of my velvet,
Blue heart,
I'm always wearing,
it's a new start,
Bad to start caring,
And I'm moonstruck,
I'm on the planet but my head's up,
Beginning to craft the new earth,
Where everything will be free,
Only you freely choose just me,
Just me

Just me
Track Name: Dying To Find (New Version)
And you know I like to dance with my shirt cut high,
And you know it's not a question if it's you i'd want to try,
And you know I like to dance with my shirt cut high,
And you know I'm just the type because i've lost my mind,
That I'm dying to find,
Dying to find,
D-d-dying to find,
Dying to find,

And if I had another chance,
I'd do it all again,
They talk to me,
I understand,
But I'm stilling hanging,
They look at me,
They feel it too,
It's so ailing,
I found myself,
I'm separate,
And then it comes back again,
Back again,

And you know I like to dance with my shirt cut high,
And you know it's not a question if it's you i'd want to try,
And you know I like to dance with my shirt cut high,
And you know I'm just the type because i've lost my mind,
That I'm dying to find,

And you know I like to dance with my shirt cut high
(And if I had another chance)
Track Name: She Don't Get No Second Chances
She walks through her old town and everybody knows,
All the men she grew up around,
Just little boys sitting on the side of the road and they-
Look her up and down,
Shake their heads and frown,
She's gonna walk right through the crowd,
She's gonna stare right through the ground,

And it's a long walk home,
Too drunk to see the road,
And there's so many vehicles in the street,
And she knows so many people,
Shouldn't be hard to get a seat,
But she don't get no second chances,
She don't get no second chances…

She learned through her old friend that, well,
Everybody knows,
And they're sitting in their basements again,
Where they're calling on their phones,
And it's 2o'clock again,
She's got so many special friends that-
When you're caught in the middle,
You know you're almost worth it,

And it's a long walk home,
Too drunk to see the road,
And there's so many vehicles in the street,
And she knows so many people,
Shouldn't be hard to get a seat,
But she don't get no second chances,
She don't get no second chances…

And in this house where she has slept,
Yeah, she's done things she can't accept,
And in this room where she was kept,
Yeah, she's done things she can't accept,
And in this house she can't leave yet,
Cause they still don't like her yet,
No, she don't care,

She walks,
She walks,
Through her old town.
